Bucky Fowler started playing country music at an early age. His father, Don Fowler, was an active country music performer when Bucky and his brothers were growing up. They all became very interested in music and performing as young boys. Bucky and his brothers enjoyed many years of success with their group, “The Fowler Brothers Band”. They performed country music all around the mid-west for many years, working country dances, concerts and shows with various national artists.
Through the years Bucky has never lost his passion for performing music of many genres, country, rock, pop, and blues. He continues performing today with a family of his own. His wife, Karla, and their three daughters, Kristine, Kelcy, and Kandace, all sing and perform in what is now known as “The Bucky Fowler Band”. Often they work acoustic shows as “The Bucky Fowler Family”, performing country, gospel, and bluegrass in an “unplugged” setting. These are some of their favorite shows to perform because the setting and atmosphere allows them to become much more intimate with the audiences.
Classic country is a main ingredient and some of Bucky’s favorite music to perform, certainly due to his fathers influence. He feels very blessed to now have his immediate family around him to work with, and loves the fact that his wife and daughters also have a passion for country music, especially the classic country and bluegrass gospel.
When working dances, “The Bucky Fowler Band” performs a very wide selection of music to make sure everyone in attendance enjoys the event. From classic country to classic rock'n'roll, “It will get them on the dance floor!”
Bucky also works quite often singing at special services such as commercial jingles, weddings, and funerals.
